10 Super Fun Golf Drills to Keep Kids Engaged and Excited!

2. Tic-Tac-Toe Putting

Create a tic-tac-toe grid on the putting green using chalk or tape. Kids take turns putting to different squares, trying to get three in a row. This makes putting practice fun and competitive.

3. Obstacle Course

Set up an obstacle course with cones, ropes, and other items. Kids navigate the course while hitting shots with different kids golf clubs to specific targets. This drill enhances their ability to control the ball and think strategically.

4. Ladder Drill

Place markers at different distances from the hole (e.g., 3 feet, 6 feet, 9 feet). Kids start at the closest marker and move to the next one after making the putt. This drill helps with distance control and consistency.

5. Chipping Challenge

Set up a chipping area with different targets, such as buckets or hoops. Kids try to chip the ball into the targets from various distances. This drill improves their chipping accuracy and touch.

6. Golf Bowling

Set up pins (or use plastic bottles) and have kids try to knock them down with their shots. This drill is great for practicing aim and power while adding a fun twist to the game.

7. Simon Says Golf

Play a game of "Simon Says" with golf instructions. For example, "Simon says hit the ball with a high arc" or "Simon says aim for the left target." This drill keeps kids engaged and helps them follow instructions.

8. Relay Race

Divide kids into teams and set up a relay race where they have to hit shots to specific targets before passing the club to the next teammate. This drill encourages teamwork and quick decision-making.

9. Balloon Pop

Place balloons at different distances and heights. Kids try to pop the balloons with their shots. This drill adds excitement and helps with precision and control.
